Yeah, that was cool, I will take the freedom ofadding some info about the image in case people wonders, hope you don't mind Namehater
From Bungie:
Um. The dudes at WETA made a Warthog. I don’t mean that they made a big plastic thing that looks like a Warthog. I mean they built a fully-functioning, four-wheel steering, powerful, off-road vehicle with a machine gun on the back. At the correct scale. If you live near Wellington, New Zealand, you might even see some crazy machine-shop dude from WETA fishtailing around your base, ahem, I mean neighborhood.
i think i'll take a trip to New Zealand and hitch a ride on this thing. man its cooler than my Mini Cooper, i think i could mount my Mini on the back for a spare tire. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
that machine gun better be real!
Just wait till you see the tank.
no i dont mind you adding that info Mazz, actually thanks []
If everything is functional I wonder how much money they spent on putting that together.
That's funny. When I first glaced at the warthog,it looked likeit was a screenshot from Halo 3, and I thought to myself that it looked pretty much like the last one. Then, after reading the thread,I realized that it was a real one andwas more impressed. The tires are the only things on it that look real. The rest of it shines like it is a screenshot. I guess graphics are getting too good these days.[Y]

WETA is a digital visual effects company based in New Zealand, founded by, among others, Peter Jackson... well, in other words, the guys tha gave life to Gollum in LOTR. This vehicle was built mainly for the Halo "Arms race"stuff showed in E3which I still not sure what it is as I fast forwarded that part... but of course no less than one sees this as a signal of the Halo movie project being revived [sg]
