    TANTRUM: Two Worlds Pushed Back

Seriously I'm pouting, Two Worlds is now delayed until the middle of August. Yes I know it is only a couple of weeks delay but I've been looking forward to this game for a while now. Oh well, I guess I will just have to play the holy heck out of Civ IV.

I hear you, I was hoping Two Worlds would fill my lazy summer gaming needs. As it is, it will fill about a month and a half until Halo 3 and the Orange Box hit, at which point I officially start to drown in good games. Oh the horror. []

Orange Box doesn't really excite me, Halo 3 I'll only play SP, and Mass Effect isn't until November? What is a RPG lovin' girl to do to fill the time?? LOL

Well, from looking at your profile, I'd say finish Oblivion and then do the Shivering Isles expansion. [:P]

    Other ideas:

Get Fable and play it through - it is cheap and BC!

    Drool over Fable 2 tidbits.

    Obsess over Fallout 3 screenshots.

    Go back and replay KOTOR.

Go back and replay Baldur's Gate II....

Awaiting GOTE for Oblivion so that the expansions are on the disc rather than eating up hardware space.

    Fallout doesn't interest me either.

I've played through KOTOR numerous times, dare I say I'm somewhat bored with it when I know what is going to happen?

Never played Baldur's Gate but then again, I don't like top down perspective video games and if I remember right this is one of those.

Fable - could never get past the overly large hands and feet!! Seriously, they were just too large for me to do anything but laugh at the characters.

Fable 2 has possiblities, but it isn't being released any time soon.

I might try Morrowind again now that it is backwards compatible, but I doubt I am going to like it any better on the big screen.

Good thing I have plenty of stitching and reading to do between SR games. []

Well, apparently your problem is that you are a picky RPG fanatic. Can't help you there. []

ahem...as an RPG fan myself, is Orange Box something I should know about?

Tammy, if you like Japanese RPG there's the Blue Dragon demo and Eternal Sonata on the XBC disk. I'm tired of the JRPG myself after playing every one available on Gamecube prior to my360 days. However, you can't go wrong with Civ as a holdover.

Well, not per se, but Half Life 2 is a hella good FPS with a good story, unlike some otherwise good shooters (*cough*Gears*cough) and includes two expansions, plus a strong class-based cartoon-looking (think Incredibles) shooter (Team Fortress 2), and finally a unique puzzle game (Portal). One of the best values for $60 I have ever seen. Just plowing all that content could hold some people until Mass Effect comes out. [sg]

Cool! I'll have to put that one on my radar. It does sound like a good value. I blew through the Darkness2.5 times and even though it was a really good story with good graphics, it didn't seem agood value for the $60.

Getting pushed back a bit is fine with me, fix issues before shipping... there's a concept!

I'm eager to check this game out but not sure if I'll buy it right away, waiting for more in-depth reviews to come. I've been telling myself it's going to be Oblivion's cognitively challenged, lead paint chip eating younger cousin... hoping to be surprised by finding out it's really a great game.
