Great Games for achievement whoring (or how to increase your gamerscore rapidly)

Thought I would start this thread so those of us that are addicted to getting achievments can know if those cheap games that are showing up nowadays are worth getting for some quick points.


My latest find: I picked up Eragon in the bargain bin for $10. This was the quickest 1000 points I have gotten to date.


I played it over the course of 9 days and got all points. It actually was a pretty good game, especiallyif you like sword fighting. I never saw the movie so I don't know how close it was to that but I know the main actors were the voice actors in the game. My biggest complaint was not being able to adjust the camera angle and a few of the dragon riding missions were rather difficult to figure out but all in all I'd give the game a pretty good score. Not worth $60 but definitely worth 10 or 20 or a rental.


Any other games that arefun and easy for gamer points?

My local Gamestop. It was the only one I saw in the bin though. However, since I also stupidly picked up Sonic Heroes for original Xbox for $10 (thought it was a 360 game) I actually spent $20 for Eragon in my mind.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 is not fun, but the achievements are easy.

I got almost all of the achievements in Full Auto with little difficulty and I'm terrible at racing games. The only ones I did not get were for getting certain levels in the multiplayer portion of the game. I think I have 950 out of 1000. I did not feel like racing online to try and get hte rest of them.

I was hoping to get Fusion Frenzy during the Old Spice Challenge but I wasn't in the top tier so ended up with Contra.


If I see Full Auto cheap I may pick it up for the gamer points.

if you haven't played king kong that is the easiest 1000 points you can get. the game is around 5-6 hours long and all you have to do to get the 1000 points is beat the game. all the achievements you get by doing the objectives to beat each level.

also so easy achievement points are any EA sport titles especially their football games. they have some where all you need to do is get a 1st down or score a touchdown.

TMNT is a pretty easy game to get the 1000 points also and it's a 5 hour game so it's definitely a renter

open season was an easy 1000, fairly enjoyable if you liked the movie


GUN was a great game and im sure you can find it super cheap now, easy achievements


bionicle hereos is kinda boring, but the points are easy enough


prey has alright points, i didnt get any of the MP achievements, but the story was entertaining enough to make me wanna finish it



fight night round 3, you could probably get all 1000 if you spent a day on it


cars was an alright game, heard you can get 1000 on it in a day also

GUN was a great game and im sure you can find it super cheap now, easy achievements

I'd like to play GUN before Call of Juarez, yeah FN3 you could get the achievements if you investa day on it about Cars, I am not sure about it, I bought it for my daughter when the movie came out, Ineeded to collect money to be able to unlock all cars so she could use them in arcade mode I had a lot of fun playing it, it was really funny but I never managed to clear all missions, that mission where you have to collect all postcards is really hard althought that's the only one I could not do...it takes more than a day I would say, some missions are really hard and frustrating after trying and failing several times, one needs to take a break to continue later... anyway I would not recommend to play a whole day with your 360, mine after 4 hours starts smelling to smoke....no wonder why there are many people that complains about the 360 getting broken[]...these machines are not made to play a whole day...

I am definitely not an AW but own NBA 2K6 and got all 1000 points in a single game.

I saw this article on Gamespot. It talks about getting 9,000 points in 2 days. Most of the games mentioned on this thread were in the article but a good bet for 1,000 gamerscore is the cash in games based on kid movies but also a few can be gotten here and there from live arcade games.
