Help the Cheerleaders... Save their Fathers
So now that my eldest boy and my two nephews are playing football, it has dawned upon my daughter and nieces that they should be doing cheerleading. Their mom's are also in full support... the dad's not so much. I have come to realize that cheerleading is expensive... and I mean hella expensive. Anyone else learning this for the first time too?? Anyways... we came up with some fundraising ideas but no idea if they will pan out. Anyone else have ideas out there for some fund raising for these little future cheerleaders?

If you have an applebee's near you they have the best fundraisers. It's a pancake breakfast they charge you $2 per person that eats and you sell the tickets for $5 or $7 dollars and the girls and the parents serve. It an all you can eat sausage and pancake thing. Very easy to make a couple of thousand and you aren't selling something worthless etc.

Usually around here they do Car Washes, sell stuff, and in Trenton, they beg for money at the busiest intersection. I do see people giving them money.

sweet ideas... and I am a fan of the applebee's... my sister-in-law does Scentsy and wants to submit an order and put all the commission towards the girls... has anyone seen that as a viable method? The boy's football team was trying pampered chef and to that I said good luck because we're not even buying anything on that

If you have a Hyvee or Price Chopper near you they have a program that we do for cub scouting. Its a coupon book you sell for $5 (has I think $100 in coupon savings) a pop but costs you I think $2 so its a $3 profit per card you sell. Hyvee you don't have to order in bulk so you can buy as you need but price chopper you have to order like a lot at first.
