    Shouldn't matter I don't think, since you need a Windows Live ID to sign into Xbox Live.

    EDIT: Yeah, just checked--to sign into MSN, you need a Windows Live ID.

    Yep, this is how my Xbox account got hacked/stolen at the first of the year. I keep a close eye on my Windows Live account now.
