31 years ago, on May 11, 1981, Bob Marley, everyone's favorite pot smoker this side of Phil Anselmo, died before his time. To commemorate the day of his passing, we shall play hockey, hockey, hockey whilst in various states of inebriation. You may play sober, but we'll make fun of you.

1. All teams must play a human at C and G, i.e., Rupert must play either W or D.

2. Round robin games will only be 3 periods, i.e., NO overtime.

Two points will be awarded for a win and one point for a tie.

Round round play is scheduled for SIX games - two games (a home and home series) against each of the other teams. Games will end after three periods – no matter what. At the beginning of OT pull both goalies (LB + Back) or have the goalies skate out of the net. OT goals won’t count but it will end the game quickly.

All teams will advance to the Semi-Finals. Round robin play will determine seeding for the Semi-Finals: 1v4, 2v3. Winners of the Semi-Final games will advance to the Championship game with the higher seed as the home team. Both the Semi-Finals matchups and the Championship game will consist of a single game with sudden death OT, if necessary, to determine the winner.

3. There are no restrictions whatsoever on what boosts and equipment may be bought and used.

4. Home team hosts the game, i.e., a player on the Home team should start the game.

Please choose a host that is known to have a good connection. Too many games last season were started by players who were commonly known to have a less than optimal connection. This isn't sporting and it sucks for your opponent(s).

5. All games will be played using standard Online Team Play rules.

6. The usual drop rules apply.

• Skaters drop at any time - play on without them.
• Goalies drop at any time in game - Stop play immediately and restart the room.
• Goalie drops in 3rd period - Play 1 entire period (regardless of time left in period) and add to previous score. All stats count.
• Goalie drops in 2nd period - Play 2 entire periods (regardless of time left in period) and add to previous score. All stats count.
• Goalie drops in 1st period - Play 3 entire periods (regardless of time left in period) and add to previous score. All stats count.
• Goalie drop in first period before a goal scored by either team - restart room and replay game. No stats count.

7. If there’s a tie following round robin play, the following tie breakers will apply for seeding purposes:

• Head to Head Record
• Total Wins
• Goal Differential
• Total Goals For
• Head to head record against the first place team (if applicable)

8. Show up. If you don’t show or drop out in the middle of the tourney without explaining to me via XBL or PM, I won’t include you in any future events that I organize. By signing up you are committing your evening to the rest of us. If something significant comes up, you just have to let me AND your captain know so we can figure out an appropriate sub. There doth exist a short naughty list and I’d hate to add your name to it.
