No I never got into pen and paper stuff. What I know about it just comes from the raging that fans of the franchise did when the shooter was released. Their biggest mistake seems to be naming the game Shadowrun.

there always seems to be a team or two that simply don't have as much as the others, and it's mostly because of unbalanced teams.....or Ranificent

I could see why. That's the first thing I was wondering was how much like the paper version it was

Don't forget the lack of a single player campaign. I know that didn't matter to most of us at AGE, but it seemed to hurt the reviews, which in turn got the developers fired, which ultimately meant no DLC.

i missed shadowrun around here, for the most part. i picked it up to play in some tourneys that were after its age heyday (even made a few of the gamenights)...and it's got a hell of a learning curve. i know that's well documented, but i hadn't seen it in this thread, so i figured it was worth mentioning.
don't get me wrong, it was fun, but there was definitely a lot going on.
