On the contrary, I had enough Renegade to get that. Shep gets PISSED at the Quarians to get them to stand down. Basically saying she didn't give a shit if the geth took them out or not. Then they stood down

I wouldn't be surprised if your Shep had enough Renegade points to call the Quarians off, then fly the Normandy into the Quarian fleet, and blow it all up just for even getting in that situation to begin with. Then she revives Tali and kills her again for even being on the crew at all.
