Great info Frag. Thanks. For an aspiring VTOL flyer like me I learned a lot.
<span id="PostView1"><span class="normalTextSmall">On the plus side, you shouldn't die much. I usually only die when I try
something stupid. For some reason people tend to ignore VTOLS except
when one is attacking them. You can fly over your enemy and grab his
power ups, and he usually won't notice you.>>
i for one everytime i see a VTOL i go after it if it's in my range,
they are easy to take down and to valuable to the other team to let it
go. 2-4 missle shots and it's down so it's not like it takes a long
time to bring down.
Same here Soul, I'll stop whateer I'm doing and target that VTOL. The
last thing I need is some Rag showing up all stocked up on green and
blue :smt003
Yeah, I think the VTOL is overlooked since its not a "mech" but it can really be an intrical part in a team game. We played a team game one night, and I kept Soul and Circ loaded up on health and weapons, I tried to keep them on level three stuff the whole game. It worked out great.
It has weak defense, but very vital in team games. Plus it can drop health on your "base" when playing base war to heal your generator. Sooner or later I will have my certified VTOL pilots license! :smt003
We should see about getting a practice game going just to screw around with it. I haven't found a way to use it on your own without being in a match. I'm not even sure which icons are for turrets or bombs when you're trying to load up. Actually, I don't even know how many crates you can carry.

I was just doing a bit of VTOL practice. You can start a local split
screen game with two controllers and play around to learn how to pick
up drop off etc. Those are pretty handy little machines.
Dont forget that you can pick up enemy tanks as well. Last night in a base war game, they dropped a tank in front of my base so i just flew over there, picked it up and took it to the other side of the map.. Great fun
