    Borderlands Weapon Drops

So I stopped playing after I finished Zombie Island, but am planning on jumping on this weekend to DL/play some Moxxi's. I am curious about what other agers do for farming.

Where do you go when you are trying to find better upgrades for weapons? I have tried everywhere, but rarely get something worth looking at.

Am I in the minority getting my best drops out of chests?

Are the drops really that much better with a full group of 4, or is it only marginally improved?

Mad Moxi doesn't drop many good weapons. You may find 1 if your lucky during any arena battle. Just remember that the baddies don't drop weapons when they die. Moxxi drops them after each round.

Your better just roaming the game and checking the weapons chest. New Haven as a few in that town.

The 6 chests in New Haven are pretty good and then run through the final sections of the game with all the aliens.

I've had my best luck in New Haven, but the Vault is almost useless for me. Especially the Vault Boss. The best drop from that fight was a white AR :-/. If anyone feels like doing some gear farming, just send me an invite/FR.

I had the best luck in the Crimson Fastness. Would check the vendor for shields, then there 3-4 chest right close. One on the left side sometimes pops, theres one behind a barred room down the stairs, but you can reach it, and the two behind the door the claptrap opens are always there, and then there is another one. Reload and repeat. The most efficient way as a siren was to just run straight to the claptrap door, check the chest and then reload... took about 1 min max heh. The weapons you want to look for are lvl 36 purplesandthenlegendaries, don't be fooled by 48's unless they have particularly useful stats.
