Fable BIG PROBLEM for me HELP!!

Allrihgt here it is last night I went and loaded up my guy which I had saved the night before after taking that kid back to his grandmother. I guess the quest wasnt over so when I loaded up I didnt have the kid saved no more So I went back into the Hobbe cave to save him agian and I dont have the key to open the door to where the kid is, and I cant leave the quest area so im stuck and cant do anything else. I think thatit saved the fact that I didnt have the key no more and now I cant find it anywhere either.I ended up starting a new character which really sucks. Any one have any suggestions? I was thinking about writing microsoft or lionhead or whoever to tell them my problem.:smt005:smt005

When you are on a quest you can only do a Hero save. It only saves your Hero's stats and progress, etc. It doesn't save your place in the game. Only a World save does that.

You can't save during a quest, basically. Supposedly the Hero Save saves all your equipment and whatnot but not your Quest progress. You are supposed to do Quests in one fell swoop without saving.

Incase you haven't figured it out yet, you just have to go get the quest again from the guild. Doors won't open unless your doing the quest.
