I went and ordered one. It is shipping today, should be here tomorrow. They sent an email saying that I can already order books and they will automatically download when I get it. On the manage the kindle page it is already registered.

I'm interesting is hearing feedback too. I saw one of these in person, and they seem really awesome, I'm just no sure I would read enough to justify the high price tag.

Almost bit the bullet and got a Kindle 2 but it's still a bit large. If they trim down the plastic to make it closer to novel-size I'll probably get one. Maybe with the Kindle 3... which I'm hearing is coming in September? That seems awful soon...

It's way smaller than most of the pictures make it out to be. It's about the size of a trade paperback book.

Post some photos with something as a reference for size please? How is the screen glare on these? Every thing claims to have no glare but there is usually some in my experience.





Also can these work on my home wifi? we get no cell coverage there at all.
