i have a psp im happy with but i play it sparadicatly at best. I know when i had a ps3 the intergration of the two left me wanting it to be a lot more. I find games are something hard to come by for the psp. Atleast really good games that i find my self desperatly wanting to play. I find some every now and then. Heck the one i played/play the most is an import from japan. (Bleach Heat the Soul 5). Its a good system that allows for some extra things. But at the same time is pretty limited in games. My opinion though. There is some stuff coming out.
X360 you already know everything. As long as you dont have to have a portable i see no reason to not get this
Thx Jingles, I'm not really looking for a handheld in that sense, I understand why many people don't need a PS3 nor a X360 with a DS, has lots of games and can be really fun for some people, it's not just my style...certainly I see the PSP as a handheld but also as a nice "attachment" to my PS3, there's a bunch of games I'd like to play, for me the PSP has more variation of the stuff I like, Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2, MG Portable Ops, Killzone, Resistance, FF VII Crisis Core, Daxter, Patapon, Loco roco (happiest game ever! [] ), Syphon Filter, God of War, that's a good bunch of games...of what I recall from the Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins game it looked good...Ratchet & Clank...I think there're games for me there
On the X360 right now it's only Gears 2 I'd like to play...and Halo 3...so I don't think I'd play the PSP less than the X360 but probably more...and since MSFT has a policy of not announcing games coming in the next 10-12 months (well, we know about Halo Recon) I have no idea what is coming for the X360 that is NOT coming for the PS3...playing with you guys that don't play on the PS3 would be worth it...I guess I'll be getting both...we'll see
i like the answer of both. I mean yeah ulmatly its up to you mazz. PsP deff has some games that im going to look at in the future. But you and i have diff tastes it seems like. God of war on the psp is awesome, just really short. Also i have the PSP2000 and i absolutely love it. That im aware i dont have many problems with not being able to see the screen.

Mazz,
To be honest, get the 360. It's the only way to play with the majority of the AGErs here and you know you want to (heck, so do I). I think the RROD problem has settled down and I would not factor that in my decision any longer for getting a 360 or not. Get the extended warranty to help calm your nerves if the RROD problem still unsettles you.
Why would I continue to pay for Live (mine just expired)? Because I have FRIENDS with no PS3 there also. That's the single biggest reason. I think you have the itch to play with some of the 360 AGErs. Go get that 360 and settle that itch.
The PSP is great for travelling because it's an all-in-one device (gaming, music, web-browsing, etc.). If you do little travelling, leave the PSP and DS alone. If you want the PSP for some targetted games on your list, then by all means get the PSP.
But I think you'll be happier with the 360.
I have a PSP and a 360 and to me the amount of enjoyment I got fromt he 360 doesn't compare. New or old the PSP is only good as a portable gaming system with some movie watching features tacked on with enough memory cards.
i say don't get either one and save your money and re-buy hot shots golf! []
