Brucie Causing Problems

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>I have tried multi-tasking several times by grabbing a car for Stevie and taking said car to go meet Brucie for some helli time. Each and every time I do this, I climb out of the hot car and Brucie says, "Get in!", only we don't. Actually, nothing happens at all. We all just stand there while the game continues on around us. Can't move, can't shoot, can't get in the car. It just locks up at that point, even though everything else seems to still be working. Cars pass, people walk by. Have to reload the last save.</FONT>

I can't say I have had this problem but it does remind me of a question I had.



I got the text from stevie about finding the bobcat on top of the parking garage, so I go pick up the car, it says "you found a car stevie has been looking for" and then nothing... I have no idea where I need to bring it. Nothing shows up on the map and it never told me what I need to do with the car after I found it.

I have had some freezing problems (as well as the dirty disc error), but it's happened when I've tried to get a hot dog from a hot dog stand, and also when I've once gone to Cluckin' Bell... I will go up to the counter to eat, and it will walk up to the counter, and get stuck - the world will move, but he will just wait for hours for that damn taco.

I had that problem at the strip club, where I could still access the ingame menu and guide, but no controller input did anything, so I reloaded and got drunk with Roman instead. [B]

In response to this issue I actually have the answer. It never tells you this, but when you grab the first car, a Car Icon shows up on the map just around the corner from your second safe house. The one north or Bohan. They say you should take it to a Pay &amp; Spray, if you beat it up a bit in trasnit, so you get the best value.

Looks like my boy Brucie has been causing "problems" for some time.

I was surfing around the "in game" net on my laptop at one of the safehouses and ended up at the LCPD site. At the very bottom of the page there's a line of text with a locked padlock next to it... the padlock is clickable so I hit it. To my surprise this takes you into the "Authorized Personnel Only" network for the LCPD. Kool! It's basically just a huge A to Z list of police records and info of characters in the game.

So I poked around a bit and eventually found Brucies name. I scrolled through his list of offences (what you expect for the most part) and then I saw this:

"Soliciting a known prostitute (Transvestite)"

Holy crap did I get a good laugh from that. [ro]
