If you have opened up one of these controllers, you have even more respect for the guy. He must have some amazing soldering skills. I wonder if their is some kind of offset-analog stick patent, because I have never seen one for the PS3.

Especially getting the motion sensing to work. If he combined it with the 360 controllers rumble though that would have been the ultimate.

I would pay twice what a normal DS3 costs for that. This guy really needs to start selling them.

Although, if he's going to go to that much trouble he may as well replace that shitty d-pad..
That is some nice work. I'd agree, if that were available I'd certainly buy one. Same thing on the d-pad though, glad it doesn't get used often cause it doesn't work too well.

Thats one thing that may make me buy the new soul caliber on the PS3. I am so used to using the dpad for fighting games and the 360 one is so unreliable.
I'd buy one of them.
I think that if the 360's D-pad had 8 directional stops in it, it would be more reliable.
One other thing about the 360's D-pad is that with your thumb angled that way to get to the D-pad, it gets harder to push in one specific direction. Your thumb naturally wants to push the pad at an angle. In fact, I almost wish that the 360's D-pad was rotated slightly so that north pointed off to the right a little. But I rarely use it for major movement.
I have seen one with the offset stick Sharky but can't remember something just didn't look right with it.Maybe madcatz or something.Originally Posted by Sharky"
