Natural one, natural one, you're a winner...
I'm sure everyone remembers this song. Came out sometime in the 90's, off the soundtrack to a movie called "Kids" that I never saw. Well, it was catchy enough that it made me check out the band.
If you don't know, they are The Folk Implosion and they actually have several albums out. I checked them out and most of them are underwhelming. A couple good songs here and there but mostly uninteresting. The one exception I found is the album "One Part Lullaby". Overall it is a better than average album with a couple of very good songs. I was just listening to it on my mp3 player and thought I'd give it a recommendation because I really like it. My favorite songs are One Part Lullaby, Someone You Love and No Need to Worry.
I'm not very good at classifying what kind of music a band is. I'm not up on all the new things they're calling shit these days. I just know I like it. Its a good mix of electronic drums and bass along with real guitars and bass. And they've got really nice, mellow voices. As far as I know, its just two guys that make the music in a house or something.
Check the album out.

Natural one, used to like that song. I've been contemplating getting iTunes (even though I don't have an iPod) to burn cds and get the artists paid. Hell, it's only $.99. I wonder what the selection is like.
