Step 1 - sign up for our Left 4 Dead Friends of Friends list. This is what our hosts use to send out game invites to you during the Game Night.
Step 2 - sign up each week for our Left 4 Dead 2 Game Night. The host will send out invites to everyone that signs up.
- Also, please read our GAME NIGHTS GUIDELINE before signing up.

Each Monday we will have a Left 4 Dead 2 Game Night. The games will start at approximately 9pm Eastern Time and run until there are no more players left. Sign-up by simply clicking the 'Join' link on the front page. Then choose if you want to be a Host, and if so, the max players your connection can handle. You can also indicate which game type you prefer, time you are available, and any other comments you may want to add. If you decide later on that you do not want to participate, simpy click 'Quit' to remove yourself from the list.

Notes for Hosts:

- Hosts will start rooms in order that they show up on the 'Hosts' list.
- Only open room if the previous host's room fills up, or he shuts his room down, or does not show up.
- Please note that the Hosts list only represents those that are eligible to host games. More than likely all these hosts will not be needed.
- Add all the hosts to your friends list so you can communicate between each other to determine if rooms are full.
- Change status to "Busy" when your room is full.
- FYI: If you get an XBL message from someone wanting to get into your room, but they are not on your friends list, you can use it to view the sender's profile and send an invite from there.
- Not sure how many people you can host? Visit our Hosting Discussion and ask for help.

Notes for Non-hosts:

- Please text the word "invite" rather than sending a voice message, as it is easier to check and allows for a quicker response.
- To ensure you get into the match, check to see if you have the hosts on your Xbox Live friends list. If not, send them a text message before the match saying that you want to participate in their room for that night. They can view your profile from that meesage and send you a game invite. For example, "I see you are a host this week for Left 4 Dead starting at 9pm EST; please send me a game invite once you set it up."
- The host will set his online status to "Busy" when his room is full.

 Good games last night. That first match was just brutal. It was just relentless. I don't think either team made it farther than 50% on the first couple chapters.

I'm interested in playing some more before Monday as Call of Doody has pissed me off A LOT so I'm cutting back on that.

sorry for ignoring invites last night, I'm trying to plow through a 2nd run of Mass Effect before I take a crack at ME2. Hit me up later this week though, after I finish up Ao2:TFD, I'll need something else to mix up my space opera, and zombies is a good distraction.

Were you on? I think you're on my list now but I don't know if I saw you. I was spamming a lot of people last night about 9pm.

It's weird because anytime I can get on early at like 8, then it's usually me and DoctorBUtcher waiting around for an hour. But if I get on at 9, usually it's already full.

But yeah, L4D is always tough to get in. I gave up on the first one when it died down to only one room going because I was always the odd man out. Maybe if we don't have enough for two full rooms we can do two 6 player rooms?

You and vdub should get on the L4D FoF list. I was checking my FL and the FoF list looking for people. We finally had 6 of us by 9, and then a few minutes later we filled up. I should've checked the signup list... I didn't even think to do that. In my best Optimus Prime voice: My bad.

But yeah, the prob is when the room is full, it's a couple hours for the match to be over. I learned with L4D1 that you have to be proactive about it and send msgs to the people in the room asking for a spot when opens up. It sucks when there's 9 or 10 people on wanting to play an 8 player game.

Agreed. Both teams were finally very evenly matched. It was the most fun I've had over several game nights!

By the way, don't throw pipe bombs at Callmecletus. He doesn't like it.

I also want to apologize to my team for jumping on that armed car early on. I honestly didn't know that jumping on the hood would set the alarm off. Really, I didn't.

Otherwise, great teamwork overall on both teams. It was a close one.

I did send Ender a msg as soon as he popped online to let him know I was ready to play whenever the others were. He said he was already in a full room. So I sat on my couch and cried all night. ...
