So we post all videos in this forum section?  Didn't there used to be ALOT more videos?

 

They are still there.  The default settings for our forums are to filter out older posts.  You can click the option button on the forum page and change that filter for yourself.

Since this forum isn't as active as the others could we change the settings so older posts show for longer? I know I can do that myself, but I mean for everyone. Right now it just looks like there are no posts here.

As of right now, we can only do this on an "entire site" basis which would slow things down to a crawl so we are kind of stuck.

That sort of stinks but better one empty looking subforum than a slow website.

It does ... I did put the question out there to grumpy and the other folks that have done some coding on this site.  Perhaps there is a hack that we can employ to get around this.

I can't believe I'm the first one to suggest this, but given that we can't change the settings for specific forums...we just need to bump those threads periodically. Nothing wrong with doing that as a workaround, right? Let's get whoring.

Well just remember to bump Greasy and I's red faction videos so the posts are still in relative order

one other suggestion I had was can we just make all the videos "stickies"? Not sure if sticky threads are immune to the date thing or not, but if they are then that would prevent us from whoring and bumping those expired threads....not that I mind whoring...just thinking of an easer way of doing it.

oh aj does it and we call it a "work around" I do it and it's "whoring" I am slut not a whore and yes a way to keep them all showing up would be awesome
