• AGE Throwback Episode 4: Team Fortress 2 RED vs. BLU - THE LEAGUE!

    It's time again to dig into your older games. Team Fortress 2 will be the next game we'll play.

    But wait! There's more!

    This will be a league with TWO teams. That's right ONLY TWO. The eternal struggle between RED and BLU is too great to separate this into more than these two great teams. It will be a SHORT league, no more than three or four weeks, and assuming we get enough players on EACH PLATFORM (PC, XBox, and even the PS3 crowd that hasn't sold back the Orange Box yet) to play a match, we can stretch this across the different platforms. See below for a bullet list of the general idea...
    • 3-4 week league, you will play one match per week.
    • All participants will be placed on either the BLU team or the RED team. If we have enough signups to split up into squads (the overall goal here, so get those signups in), your squad's points each week will count towards the global pool for your respective team.
    • This also means that multiple platforms can fight for the glory of BLU and RED. PC BLU team is on the same team as XBOX BLU team, the points those teams earn will all count towards one total.
    • You can play on multiple squads (IE, you can play on the XBox team and the PC team for BLU).
    For those that don't know, TEAM FORTRESS 2 IS FREE ON THE PC!! This will be a great time for those that are moving to PC gaming or have always been in the minority of AGE gamers to get involved in an AGE event. When you signup, please indicate whether you prefer playing on the PC, XBox 360, PS3, or any combination thereof.

    If we don't get enough interests to even two teams, I'll scrap this and try another one.

      hmmm, I thought about setting up a TF2 server for pc gaming to go along with my Killing Floor server.

      Prolly have to skip this one, I'm on call 2 weeks and paying someone to cover 2 nights can be pricey. It looks really fun though from the footage I've checked out.
