Militaries have been working on exoskeleton suits for a while. I'm sure heating & cooling in addition to waste management are the biggest issues.

And this guy was been working on the grizzly suit for a long time. I think he even let himself get mauled once in a very early version of the suit.

That's the Grizly Project guy ( This is the guy that build the Grizly Bear Suit ) He also has a bunch of other interesting ones, as well as some well questionable ones. Checkout his wikipedia entry for more info.

...by looking at the guy's face I'd say he's so bad ass that probably doesn't need the suit - he can just Bronson his way through the bad guys.

Insane? no way ... I wish I had the extra money laying around to do home brew projects like this.
