• SKATE Shreds Hawk 2:1

  Wow, I knew SKATE was fun and took a skating games in a different direction, but a 2-1 thrashing of Tony Hawk? Saying bad things about EA never goes out of style, but last year they did at least one thing right: Skate. That game is fantastic! So much better than Tony Hawk's. • No DLC Coming For Skate

  Given the high level of popularity for Skate (and the fact it is an EA game) I was really surprised to hear they are not planning on any DLC for Skate. But, then I got to thinking about it and I'm not sure what DLC would have been beneficial. So, my question to everyone is if you could have DLC for Skate what would you have wanted it to be? • Skate Delayed Until Friday

  Looks like you won't be able to shred until Friday. Weird that it was such a late announcement A post on the official skate message boards has confirmed that the game has suffered a minor (and unexplained) delay. Those of you rushing out to pick up your copy today (complete with "new game Tuesday" smell) will be disappointed to learn that skate won... • [Demo]: SKATE Now Available

  Been waiting on this one. A good 1/2 hour of gameplay to shred: After being held up for six days, EA's Skate demo has finally arrived on Xbox live, begging to be downloaded and obsessed over. We're just a tad bit obsessed with it ourselves, going as far as calling it "a spiritual experience." Will you reach gaming nirvana as well? Not unless you can... • SKATE Demo Delayed - Maybe a Week

  Bummer. While I am sure the game rental companies have some small negative impact on game sales, I have to think that demo's are having a positive affect. I love being able to try new games out, even before I rent them, he he. • [Videos]: Tony Hawk Proving Ground & SKATE

  Two new videos for the competing skating games. The video editor does look pretty cool for Tony Hawk, but to be honest, I don't have the time to edit my own kid's videos, let alone a game I play. The SKATE video is more about character progression but shows some good gameplay. I wonder if any of these will support the Vision Cam to put your face on... • EA's SKATE: Interviews, Songs, and a Two New Videos = Awesome

  Yup, this has GOT to be on your list of games in 2007, even if you rent it. This is going to do for skating what Forza has done for racing games. No more arcade experiences, this is the real deal. • EA's SKATE - The Most Innovative Controller Scheme for Shredding?

  Controller scheme's have really advanced over the last 5 years across all games and platforms (think golf). It's nice to see the some advancement within the skating genre.
