• [E3] Geometry Wars 2

• E3: Fall Dashboard Update - Avatars, 3D, and Apple Wanna Be

  Again, more details to follow, but they just announced Avatars and a 3D look. A lot of the bloggers saying it looks a lot like something Apple would have done. • E3: Gears of War 2 Confirmed for Nov 7th plus 5 Player Co-Op Horde Mode

  Getting more details on the Horde mode as Xbox360 Fanboy has some updates Update 2: Gears of War 2 will release on November 7, 2008. 'Horde' mode allows five players to fight off wave, after wave of locust enemies. It looks like the campaign co-op is still two players, but boy does it look hot.   Well I guess it would still be Pre-E3, but oh well technicality. Here is some more info on that upcoming game I'm sure not many of you have heard of. • Sony plans to offer full Movie/TV Downloads as early as this summer.

  Looks like even more changes to the PSN at E3 this summer: Most notable in the near-term however, is word from Kazuo Hirai , chieftain of Sony Computer Entertainment, that Sony will make a movie download service available to US PlayStation 3 owners this summer -- Japan and Europe at later dates with details coming "next month," presumably... • Reminder: E3 This Week

  E3 starts this week in Santa Monica and MSFT's big show is on Tuesday night. You will be able to watch live on G4TV @ 9PM EST or on Xbox.com at 11:30PM EST. I think the G4TV has a pre-show which is why it starts earlier. Also, both Xbox.com and XBL will have a lot of material to digest on announcements, games, etc so watch the blog for further details... • Not cancelled, just downsized.

  Contrary to reports across the web, E3 has not been cancelled. Next-Gen had hoped that they would blow the lid off of a hot story by revealing that the show had been cancelled, but some quick fact checking shows that they are simply incorrect....
