Goal met in record time! Good job everyone. What an amazing group we have here at AGE. From the sounds of it, it looks like we accidentally ran over the goal allowing us to bank an extra 1/2 a year worth for next year. I was in the field all day and Grumpy does not have access to the site while at work, so we ran over before we could pull the plug. I will let Grumpyshrapnel post the exact numbers once he logs in. Thanks again to everyone that donated. Once again I am humbled by the generosity of this community.

I always hate this part of maintaining this site, but it is necessary to allow AGE to continue on. This is especially true when our economy is hurting, meaning many of you too are starting to feel the strain and starting to save money where you can. With that said, it's hard for me to even ask the following, but here it goes. If you find Adult Gaming Enthusiasts a beneficial part of your gaming ecosystem, can you please find the room in your budgets to donate to our server fund?

Each year we run a one time fundraiser until we meet our goal, 1 years worth of server space. These funds go to our server host allowing us to rent space and bandwidth to essentially house our website on the internet. If you would, please dig into your piggy banks and donate what you can ... $5, $10, $50, or what ever you can afford. Any amount will help out. As soon as we meet our goal, we will shut down the donation until next year. Last year we were able raise the money in less than 24 hours. Needless to say, all of the people here at AGE that are responsible for maintaining the site were very humbled. Let's see if we can all come together as a community and do this again. Thanks!

Note: I will be out in the field most of the day tomorrow. But Grumpyshrapnel will try to keep this thread and the blog updated to show a running tally of our funds. He can not access the site from work, but will do his best to work something out.

The total amount needed for a this year is $649. This is a pay in advance cost, minus a one month loyalty bonus ... much cheaper than month to month.
