Illegitemate COD4 Beta Users lookout!

There were 100K people let into the beta with another 23K using the Guest/Recovery glitch to get it. Anyone who used the glitch to get the Beta will be locked out from live for 24hours. The glitch has also now been fixed. I guess this means we will have a bit less lag for the rest of the Beta.

Lag was horrible last night on COD4 playing with the GP... and I heard half a dozen people talking about how they got in using the glitch (some were from out of the country as well)...

Just a slap on the wrist. Honestly, I would have given up 24 hours of Live for a chance to play the beta (I actually gave my beta code to someone else because my 360 is in the shop). They always threaten an X-Box Live ban, but we all know it rarely happens. Why would you ban someone when they are paying for your service? I doubt this little slap on the wrist will deter anyone from exploiting a Live glitch in the future.
