You have to get a wireless headset as well. They run $80 or
so. There's a review around here somewhere for logitech's model.

the dongle has 2 ports on it but that defeats the purpose--i recommend getting the controller, using it for everything but live play (well, you can still play rumble pit games on HALO2), then, get the wireless headset later if you can't stomach the 80 bucks right now

1thing to note--i usually don't use my wireless controller for HALO2--it just feels better with the wired controller to me--for everything else i use the logitech

the wireless headset is sweet, even with the wired controller--if you get up to get a drink or whatever you don't have to re-situate your headset and you don't have that annoying wire that just seems to be in the way all of the time

i go totally wireless on everything except HALO2

Check the reviews already posted at this site about both the Logitech Cordless Precision Controller for Xbox and the Logitech Cordless Headset for Xbox. :smt003

I didn't run them off. They ran to you because, and I quote; "Chris has the best fellatio skills I've ever experienced. His experience in pleasing men is unrivaled."

I was inconsolable for 2 or 3 minutes.

I think this post is out of place.. the review forum is meant for reviews, not questions about hardware.

Anyways, I've gone through a MadCatz and played a bit with the logitech
wireless controller. By far, I have to say the logitech is my favorite.
The D-pad on the logitech isn't skewed at a weird angle like it is on
the MadCatz. Or maybe my thumb is just bent the wrong way. :-k I wish
they'd make controllers charge up like mice do these days. Have a
battery cell on the mouse and charge it on the receiver. But who would
want to pay 100+ for a wireless controller, hmm? =]

I'm loving my Logitech wireless controller & headset. I do hear a little static on the headset & people have said my voice sounds different. I like the feel of the controller. together the set-up is abit expensive, but I got some cash for Xmas (of course, I bought this before I got the cash...)

I walked all around my house withit today and was still able to talk. I would say that it gets every bit of the 30ft they indicate on the package, if not a bit more.

I have the wireless controller, headset and a wireless network, all on 2.4 GHz and have not trouble with interference. There is some feedback if you get the volume too high. The mic is sensitive enough that it picks up the sound in the earpiece and transmits an echo. Easily fixed by turning the volume down.

It does sound a little different, as Wyvern pointed out, but I got used to it very quickly and don't notice it anymore. I used it all day and had no complaints about it or from anyone I was gaming with.

Anyone have comments on this product:

This is a Wide Eye wireless Xbox live kit, includes wireless controller and wireless headset for $69.99. I am considering getting this cause I can afford this but not the $100+ for the logitech. If anyone has any comments/suggestions about this one please post it or PM me.

I just bought the new Pelican 2.4 Ghz Edge wirless controller and I am loving it so far. It feels the same as the controller "s". I didnt want the Logitech one because I didnt like the feel of the anolog sticks and I didnt care for the shape of it. This controller I am happy to report feels like your using the regular controller. All of the buttons are in the same place except the back and start buttons. They are in the middle now. Another thing I liked was there was actually a power button on it , so I know its off, and not burning batteries in standby mode. It also has extra white and black buttons on the top if you would prefer to use those instead of the regular ones. Nice selling point, its only 25 bucks at Wal-Mart, about 10-15 bucks cheaper than the logitech one.
