<div id="intelliTxt">Well my 3rd is starting to take a dump on me (It is having a hard time latley reading RS3:BA and MK: Deception. I have to reset the XBOX 10x before it will read the disk.) So I guess I have to go buy a new one pretty soon. Was wondering if anyone knew of any how deals for the $149. price tag where sometimes Best Buy gives you free stuff or what not? Or if anyone knows of any hot deals coming soon for the holiday season.

I'd imagine that a Holiday Bundle will be coming out sometime this month. The only bundle I've heard of, though, is the rumored Halo 2 crystal Xbox. I've been told that there is going to be another price drop in March, but I don't know how much faith I would put in that.

I would just get a used one from EBgames, it should be about $119........ and thats what I have been using since I got it back and I havent had any problems with it.

Have you tried to call the xbox tech support?
It does not matter when you bought the xbox.
If you are lucky, and they will replace your xbox DVD drive for free.
You just have to ship it to them.

the problem with xbox fixing the actual xbox is that it can take up to 3months to get your xbox back. also you pay for shipping and handling. its not worth the hassle, if you can afford it buy a new one. sell the other to llama

The rumor from cheapassgamer is that the holiday bundle will include NCAA Footbal '05 and Top Spin. Should hit stores around the end of the month.
