Nice graphics, for sure, but I see that they still don't show your weapon at all, just the aiming graticle. While that elimates the problem of blocking a portion if your view, it also reduces the realism a bit, for me. I can live with it, hell, am itching to play this game, but it's something I rather wish they had adopted from RS3.

that reminds me, does anybody know if ubisoft is ever going to release content for bawith the xm8 ar--mind you, it will probably be a different skin on an m16 or m4 but they had the damn thing in that video

Yeah, but this is what seperates GR from Rainbow. If you did have an over the gun view, then basically you are playing another version of Rainbow 6, just set in the jungle. I dont know, I like it either way, but doesnt GR2 offer a first to third person view as well?

yeah, but their "3rd person" looks like splinter cell with your gun drawn--not a criticism

I prefer not to have the weapon taking up any screen space. I
doesn't add immersion for me in BA, just annoys me. I don't know
how inaccurate it would be, either. R6 guys would seem to move
with more of a SWAT team, weapon-to-shoulder-at-all-times-type
way. GR guys would be more of a bound and cover type movement,
bringing their weapon to bear on an enemy when they reach a stopped
firing position.
