I wouldn't mind joining you guys if you don't mind gaming with a noob at NHL. I'll be around after the Forza races.

Absolutely dude--jump on in. Standard hazing applies though...You have to play goalie your first game, and get into at least one fight during the night :)

I'll be online later too... I hope my NHL disc hangs tough, the centre ring is totally frakked. Had a small crack/piece get ripped out a few weeks ago, and little bits have been flying off ever since (and yes, I have it installed).

Now it's turning into hit/miss whether it wants to boot up or not... I'm guessing it isn't getting to the right rpm's for read-speed because of this...

[:(]

and, I bought NHL '10 twice last year - who knew it was my disc drive that was f'd up... I really wasn't planning on picking up NHL '11 this "late" in the season, even though I play it year' round... sigh...

Same thing happened to my Fifa 11 disk. I broke down and bought a new one.

I think it was Brutal Girth that said he takes all his games and put them into store bought jewel cases cause they are not as tough on the center of the disks.

Although I freakin' HATE that I have to <span style="text-decoration: underline;">very gently> RIP the games out of their cases, I must admit that my NHL disc got messed up because my daughter was actually trying to be nice to me and before I could grab it from her she yanked the disc out of case... it's been down-hill for the disc ever since...

With lot'sa weeks left in the league, I'll be picking up another copy for sure, just not sure when...

Thanks for jumping in! Sorry I had to drop after one game--kid issues. Hope to see you on the ice again.

I used to keep my PS2 discs in a CD wallet and never had a problem, but I wouldn't recommend it if you change discs ofter, as there is considerably more contact with the disc rubbing the wallet liner.

I was able to find colored jewel cases, which makes it easier to locate a specific genre and they're stored in a computer CD case. I found Red, Yellow, Purple, Green &amp; blue. If you add complete clear &amp; clear on black, then you have quite an extensive selection.....but I think I heard Austin Powers comparing me to Vanessa Kensinton and yelled, "NERD ALERT." (it was from afar of course, as I would have laid an MMA beat down on that frilly lace cravat wearing Brit)
