I was able to pick it up from Gamefly to save some monies. Who has it and what do you think?

I have only gotten to play about an hour or it but I can say that so far it is Fable. Doesn't seem to be a lot of changes made so far. I think the magic looks a little better. I don't like the story so farcompared to Fable 2. I have read that co-op is quite buggy right now and is not saving progress for people sobe carefulwith that.
i've played maybe an hour and a half. i like it. but. it seems a little slow on the storyline. i hope that once i get in to the story more it will pick up the pace just a bit.
its fable, for sure tho.

I have read that co-op is quite buggy right now and is not saving progress for people sobe carefulwith that.
I have played the first hour and half a couple of times now because for whatever reason it isn't saving my progress automatically. At first I thought it was because I quit before hitting a checkpoint, so I played it for a little longer, then when I went to "Continue" the game, I started from the beginning again. So now I just do manual saves every few moments to make sure I'm up to date.
Like I said, only about an hour - hour 1/2 into it and I enjoy the concept of the story--haven't played it enough to make a full decsion on it. I will say that I didn't like one of the initial decisions you had to make (being deliberately vague here so as to not spoil it for those that haven't got it yet). I felt like I didn't have enough info or investment into the plot/characters/setting to be able to even care about the decision. My hope is that it doesn't someone come back to play an important role later on--that would kind of be a cheap move imo.
I also didn't care for the fact that the main character actually talks now. I always enjoyed the fact that the Hero was Chrono-esque in that his personality and responses were created by my own imagination. I know, I know...Minor complaint as the game still feels like Fable and that is definitely a good thing [Y]
I'm skipping my class tonight since it's just review, so I'll be able to dedicate some more time to it and make a more informed decision later.

I'll have to agree...it's Fable. Which definately isn't a bad thing. I'm enjoying it a lot. It's been crazy trying to decide between playing New Vegas and Fable. I've been alternating them, tonight is New Vegas night.

I have not been able to do that very well, I keep getting stuck on FNV! The Fable 3 box on my table looks accusingly at me....

I think the graphics look great in Fable 3. I am a huge fable fan but so far this story isn't as good as 1 or 2 IMO. I really like the gameplay and the more laidback action/rpg approach they take. If you didn't like the other fables you won't like this one. I am loving it but it certainly is just like the others in gameplay.

I loved the other 2 fables, love this one. This game is actually one of the reason's I went and got another 360. Dont regret it either. Start back on Weekend shift Sunday(3 days a week, 4 days off) so looking forward to diving into this more.

Don't forget Undead Nightmare!
I'm a good way through and must say I'm really enjoying it. Well worth the money spent on getting the Limited Edition.

I am loving Fable3. It mixes in a bit of Mass Effect 2 with having to recruit people for the rebellion. The Brit humor is great and makes for an enjoyable experience. Also the side missions are awesomely crafted and a great experience all their own. I think the whole move away from menus is awesome. I hated pouring through F2's menu system, this takes it away and puts everying right in your hands at the sanctuary. Haven't done co-op yet but anyone want to give that a go?

I'm also enjoying the more laidback approach to Fable 3 so have put down FNV for a bit.
