can someone please tell me how the save function works in Fable!!!! I was at the guild, talked to some people, got some books from the library, killed the bugs, got some apples for a lady to make her pie and then moved to my teenage years which is when I saved my game because I had to go to work..........later I got home turned on my Xbox loaded up my last save and it took me back to my child years at the part when Maze comes and then takes me to the Guild.............WTF, I played for over two hours exploring everything before I got to my teenage years!!!!!!!

/AGE/DesktopModules/YetAnotherForumDotNet/images/emoticons/117.gif

The entire time you're training at the Guild is considered a quest. Therefore, you can't save mid-quest. The easiest way to tell is on the save screen. A hero save will only save your hero's current stats, items, etc. Not your place in the game. A world save does that. So, if you use a hero save then you'll have to start the quest over from the beginning. I know it sucks. I had to go through the guild training twice because of it.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen with a quest area later in the game, but I knew it was coming. It strips you of any items/treasure you collected during the quest, but I "think" you keep the experience you gained. I could be wrong on that, though. If I am, what would be the point of the hero save?

The hero save keeps any earned experience you have.
