So I've been wanting to get this book for ever a year, literally. So here I was in a bookstore, minding my own business in the Humor section, when I realize that the Sports section is just a few aisles away, and once I reach sports, I look for my favorite one (football), and I come across this book The Blind Side. I decided to pick it up and take a gander to see what it was all about, after the first few pages I was flippin' hooked (and let me tell you, I'm not a reader). The first chapter is titled "Back Story" and rightfully so, it goes on to talk about what the blind side was, and how it wasn't named that until Lawrence Taylor came into the league. "A sack is when you run up behind somebody who's not watching, he doesn't see you, and you really put your helment into him. The ball goes fluttering everywhere and the coach comes out and asks the quarterback, 'Are you all right?' That's a sack." (Lawrence Taylor). So I finally ordered the book off Amazon.com at a decent price, and it arrived at my door a three days ago.

Shortly after the first few chapters go by, you start to realize that this book isn't just about football, it's about something more. It's about giving a chance to someone who has nothing. What makes it better is that it's a true story based on the person/player Michael Oher (said like Oar), who is currently a left-tackle senior at Ole Miss. I don't want to go much on about it, because I really do believe it's a quick and good read. The book is around 330 or so pages, and I finished it in two days (mind you these two things: I have no 360, but I do have a PS3, so it's not like I couldn't have been gaming[:P])
