- To learn how our Game Nights work, read the <font size="2">GAME NIGHTS TUTORIAL</font> (/blogs/age/archive/2007/10/19/age-101-game-nights-tutorial.aspx).
- Also, please read our <font size="2">GAME NIGHTS GUIDELINE (http://adultgamingenthusiasts.com/blogs/age/archive/2007/06/27/game-nights-guideline.aspx)</font> before signing up.

Each Wednesday we will have a <font size="3">Gears of War</font> Game Night. The games will start at approximately 9pm Eastern Time and run until there are no more players left. Sign-up by simply clicking the <u>'Join'</u> link on the front page. Then choose if you want to be a Host, and if so, the max players your connection can handle. You can also indicate which game type you prefer, time you are available, and any other comments you may want to add. If you decide later on that you do not want to participate, simpy click <u>'Quit'</u> to remove yourself from the list.

Notes for Hosts:

- Hosts will start rooms in order that they show up on the 'Hosts' list.
- Only open room if the previous host's room fills up, or he shuts his room down, or does not show up.
- Please note that the Hosts list only represents those that are eligible to host games. More than likely all these hosts will not be needed.
- Add all the hosts to your friends list so you can communicate between each other to determine if rooms are full.
- Change status to "Busy" when your room is full.
- <font color="#ff0000">FYI</font>: If you get an XBL message from someone wanting to get into your room, but they are not on your friends list, you can use it to view the sender's profile and send an invite from there.
- Not sure how many people you can host? Visit our Hosting Discussion (http://adultgamingenthusiasts.com/forums/80.aspx) and ask for help.

Notes for Non-hosts:

- Please text the word "invite" rather than sending a voice message, as it is easier to check and allows for a quicker response.
- To ensure you get into the match, check to see if you have the hosts on your Xbox Live friends list. If not, send them a text message before the match saying that you want to participate in their room for that night. They can view your profile from that meesage and send you a game invite. For example, "<font color="#ff0000">I see you are a host this week for Gears of War starting at 9pm EST; please send me a game invite once you set it up.</font>"
- The host will set his online status to "Busy" when his room is full.

There are alot of us gear heads that don't bother signing up each week because we're playing many, MANY nights of the week already. We had two rooms running last week, and I believe a few run-over players too. Just to give you warning, having been isolated from you hip and with-it gamers that only play the newest games we've started to develope our own language,like we're members ofsome lost tribe. Maybe we should post a handy reference guid online for you jonny-come-latelys[:P](yes, I know no one hasused that phrase since 1942, no I don't know why I love sayings from two generations before I was born)

<P mce_keep="true">yo sup peeps???? i wanted to see if anyone was interested in getting the achievements for ranked games?????? i was thinking of an annex room, something like 17 rounds, 240 secs and grid lock (because its the most familiar map and all the weapons are easily assessable and it would also be easier to find the room) and we just don't cap any thing,,just snipe, shot gun, cub stomp, frag, saw and boom the shiot out of each other.......for a couple of hours,,,that should be enough to accumulate some achievement points for you achievement hoes....we also can set up an alternate room type in case we get GP in before it fills up that wont leave......any takers??????

Sorry Chef nice try[:D] but I do beleive that when you play ranked gears it's unjoinable, just like if your in a private room.


Kenshiro, your going to have to mind-meld with that thing to get any better. You could at least let those of us on the other team feel like we're accomplishing something before frying us with hammery vengence.


Bourbon, I tried to get you to join our gears room last night but you were a no-go then too. I don't think we can take that kind of dissapointment two nights in a row[*c]
