Vampire 33 aka "Jeff" - Yes he's a tool in real life just like on XBL, but you love him anyway. Cool guy, shorter than I expected. Funny and outgoing as I expected from his online persona.

Monkey EatsAlot aka "kyle" aka "Jeff's kid" - Much cooler than Jeff online as well as in real life. Funny, but not in an annoying kid way. He really has a great sense of humor and timing. Doesn't say too much, but when he does - it's quality. I only hope my kids turn out this well.

DeanO aka "Dean" - Much younger than I expected (not that I was expecting a Way2Old clone). Cool guy, a little hung up on Star Wars - but we won't hold that against him ;-). Came to our dinner even though he wasn't involved in the golf tournament the next day. Honestly, that says a lot about a guy to me.

Sharky aka "Alex" - For some reason, I had this mental image of Sharky being like 6'+. He was definitely a whole lot shorter than I expected. Was also hard to recognize him without the nipple ring :-k. I didn't get a long time to hang out with him on Sunday, but definitely seems like a good guy to be friends with.

Old Painles aka "Greg" - Seemed like a nice enough guy, but again didn't get to spend a lot of time with the guy. Much like his online persona was in and out with little fanfare. Hopefully, I'll get a little more time to hang with him and Sharky next time we all get together.

All in all, I'd have to rate this group a 9, though it would've been considerably lower without Monkey in there. ;-)

I also thought Sharky was going to be taller. Than one picture he posted (the original) seemed to make him look taller, and yes he looks younger than his age.

I want to thank everyone there for the kind words for my son, and for making him a part of the festivities, he had a blast!!! He could not wait to get on the phone and call his mom and tell her about his experience.

Something you want to confess Vamp?You shut it!!!! So I make one mistake ever, and you catch it. Yaayyyyy!! :smt002 So my fingers and my brain are not insync this morning.

It was a long Sunday for me. I got up in the hotel at 5:00am to get ready and then drive for 30 Minutes to course. We played and then stayed for door prizes, so Monkey could win his Rum, and then I drove 3 hours back at a high rate of speed to get back in time for a 7:30pm Softball game, which we won 16 - 10!!! I did not get home till after 9:30pm and Monkey and I were/are exhausted!!!

I've been playing for four years and I'm still shooting in the 100s but I have fun doing it. I'm actually going to be in Durham for a friends wedding in late September. I know a few of you live in North Carolina. Don't know how close you are to Durham but if you're not too far maybe we could play a round when I'm there. My friend is getting married on Sat. Sept. 25 so I was planning on flying on Friday the 24th but have not booked my flight because I may have to be in DC for business that Thursday but will let everyone know asap. Looking forward to it though. :smt003
